Critical Reflection

Through this module, I have gained a lot of confidence in both speaking and learning English. As my first language is Chinese, my English language skills were not very fluent, and I found it challenging to express myself effectively in English. This module has been a great warm-up, especially as I prepare for more intense modules in the upcoming trimester. It provided the ideal pace for me to gradually improve my language skills, allowing me to grow more comfortable in both speaking and writing in English. The module also gave me the opportunity to reflect on my past learning experiences from polytechnic. I have realized that learning is not a one-time process; it is something that involves unlearning and relearning. Over the years, I had developed certain habits and methods of learning, but this module helped me reframe some of my ideas and approaches. I focused on drones used in industries like agriculture, construction, and delivery, learning about their features such as payload capacity, flight time, and automation capabilities. Explored Delivery Concepts: I investigated drone delivery systems, comparing existing models like Zipline’s medical delivery service with other companies, such as MeiTuan in China, which uses drones for deliveries. This research led me to consider ways to improve Zipline’s approach, particularly for medical deliveries, by enhancing payload efficiency and flight range. Research Pathway of DJI Mavic 3 Drone

Initial Pathway of research We choose this topic because it is trendy and drones have an increasing presence in our daily lives. 1. We used gAI,  ChatGPT to understand the features of DJI Mavic 3. Using ChatGPT, we entered an input of “What is DJI Mavic 3” and “Help me find source and reference materials regarding DJI Mavic 3 drone such as its features”. 2. Identifying all the features that ChatGPT from our input, the ones that intrigued us which we would like to write about are the drone’s flight performance, the camera system/transmission system and obstacles avoidance. 3. Additionally, we used ChatGPT to help us find some initial research sites that we can begin our work on.
