Initial Research Pathway of DJI Mavic 3 Drone by Dong Xuan and me

Image
Initial Pathway of research We choose this topic because it is trendy and drones have an increasing presence in our daily lives. We used gAI,  ChatGPT to understand the features of DJI Mavic 3. Using ChatGPT, we entered an input of “What is DJI Mavic 3” and “ Help me find source and reference materials regarding DJI Mavic 3 drone such as its features”. Identifying all the features that ChatGPT from our input, the ones that intrigued us which we would like to write about are the drone’s flight performance, the camera system/transmission system and obstacles avoidance. Additionally, we used ChatGPT to help us find some initial research sites that we can begin our work on. Other than the DJI main website, some of the online resources that ChatGPT gave us were: DroneDJ, TechRadar and CNET. With some of the recommended sites, we can go onto Google to spend time reading on the articles and Youtube to watch reviews to understand and see the drone’s features in action.

Dear Professor Blackstone, My name is Xuan Yi, and I am a student in the S20 class currently enrolled in the Mechanical Engineering program at the Singapore Institute of Technology. I graduated from Ngee Ann Polytechnic in 2022 with a diploma in Aerospace Engineering. My educational journey began with a Nitec in Aerospace Machining Technology and a Higher Nitec in Precision Engineering from the Institute of Technical Education. During my studies, I completed three internships in the engineering field, which significantly motivated me to further pursue my education in Engineering. These experiences provided me with valuable insights and a broader understanding of the practical aspects of engineering. Outside of academics, I have a passion for travel. I enjoy exploring different parts of the world, immersing myself in various cultures, and appreciating the beauty of nature, from serene blue seas to lush mountain landscapes. In terms of communication, I consider adaptability to be one of

Quote Interpretation by Albert Wong and me

“Without clear lines of communication, our ideas would stay within our own small development teams instead of becoming mature products. While this is obvious to those of us who have become experienced engineers, the real question is: Why is it lost to us when we are engineering students?” - Akbar R Khan, Software Systems Engineer, USA, “Good Communication Is Essential...” (2014) The above quote emphasizes the importance of communication in turning ideas into reality. It implies that clear communication is critical for disseminating and developing ideas beyond small, isolated groups. While experienced engineers recognize this requirement, the remark raises the issue of why this awareness is absent among engineering students. Engineering students may not completely recognize how important communication is in the product development process, likely because they are typically focused on technical skills and may not yet understand how teamwork and transparent information sharing generate cr
